Andrew got off to a swinging start with a round of golf at the glorious Denham Golf Club http://www.denhamgolfclub.co.uk/ He was joined by his groomsmen for 6 holes before changing into his McTavish kilt and heading for to St Mary’s Church in Denham.
Rachel arrived at the church in a splendid car on the sunniest of July days wearing a dress from http://www.purecouture.co.uk/. I had spent the morning with her and her two bridesmaids, catching all of the excitement and nerves.
This was a really beautfiull day with a lot of laughter. After the service everyone went on to Denham Golf Club for drinks on the lawn to the accompament of bag pipes before sitting down in the magnificent dining room. Speeches first and more laughter, then time to cut the very unusual cake which was actually a selection of small cakes arranged beautifully in layers. These were pounced on and quickly demolished in time for the first dance and I left shortly after just as the party was really revving up.
